Is it bad to drink Diet/Caffeine free soda during pregnancy?

I've been drinking it so much lately cause Im diabetic and can't have sweets really, so diet/caffeine soda has been my new choice and it's awesome. I was NEVER a soda drinker before I got pregnant and now I crave dark sodas. Like rootbeer, Dr. Pepper, Coke. Is this bad?

I drink caffeine free coke now that I am pregnant, it is not bad so to say, because there isn't any caffeine, but you should watch the sugars. I still wouldn't recommend drinking more than 2 a day because of that reason and they can still dehydrate you like juices because of the sugar. So drink a few and enjoy, but make sure you take in plenty of water 60-80 ounces a day, because that is the best thing for you.
