Is 94/76 low for an adult (30 yrs old) woman's blood pressure? My heart rate was only 58!?
I have been monitoring my blood pressure/heart rate since I started taking medicine for my BP. My blood pressure has been averaging about 113/84 and my heart rate has been averaging about 119. I have an ovarian cyst which is causing me alot of pain so I think that is why my heart rate has been so high but this particular time I checked it I wasn't feeling real well and I was pretty exhausted. It was 2am and I couldn't sleep because of the pain. The dr has me taking 2 Lortabs (7.5) every 6 hours. I'm not use to taking this much medicine but I am hurting so bad I have been taking the pain medicine like the dr prescribed. Now I'm worried about this blood pressure. Is this like abnormally low? Is it dangerous low? Thanks for your help.

In my opinion, I wouldn't be concerned. Your average BP is normal. If it tends to stay low (94/76), or if you feel light headed, dizzy, have no energy, I would talk to you doctor about it. From what I understand, Lortab tends to lower BP ..so just keep monitoring it. Normal BP is 120/80. You diastolic (76) is normal, you systolic is considered "normal low" (94). I hope this helps:)
