Huge fluctuations in blood pressure?
I usually donate plasma once to twice a week, but lately when they check my blood pressure it's been all over the place. About a year ago I started to exercise more and eat healthier, and I never had this problem before. It's sometimes normal, sometimes too low, and sometimes WAY too high like today...and when I asked what could cause this they didn't know. I always feel the same, pretty energetic and hardly stressed out. (I'm only 18, and they said I should definitely not be having these problems.)
What causes the drastic changes in blood pressure, when I generally lead a normal, pretty relaxed lifestyle? (Also, there isn't any history of heart disease in my family...if that helps at all.)
EDIT: I'm actually looking for what CAUSES it, not what medication I can take or what home remedies can help me lower my BP (because sometimes it's too low anyway).
The first thing I would suspect is a magnesium deficiency.
I won't mention the best way to fix that since you made it plain that you are not asking for remedies.
