11 1/2 month old hot with no fever?
ok. she has always had a red cheek after sleeping for days or even a week before tooth breaks thru.
has had red cheek several days. no sign of teeth.
mom(me) and dad have a cold. we are extremely careful-washing or sanitzing hands after every sneeze, cough, nose blow, eye wipe ect.
11 1/2 month old feels quite warm- temp warm, but ear thermometer reads nothing over 37 celcious and its been taken 4 times in last 2 1/2 hours
what do you think? no internal virus but body stiill fighting cold? she shows absolutely no signs of a cold
could it just be teething?
i'm a mom of 4 so plz no rude comments
i just never experienced forehead, temples and bit of chest area, so warm to touch without a fever. cheeks are cool. barefoot in sleeper all afternoon and feet are fine-neither cold nor warm
any ideas?

She is most likely getting her 1 year molars, with two of my four little ones the molars gave them bloody bottoms, yet the other two were fine. I have noticed that each of my kids behaved differently with teething, especially the molars. But since the two you are not feeling well there is also the possibility that her she isn't feeling well but isn't getting the fever.
Take a good look at her and observe her eating habits, drinking habits, playing habits, etc. If she seems fine in all those areas then she is probably okay, but if you are really worried then make an appointment to see her Doctor.
I hope you don't get any rude comments because as mother of four as well I know what it like to have your kids all experience new a different things. Good luck to you!
