My husband is 33 & takes Zoloft & mild Blood pressure med, will half a viagara hurt?

He is borderline diabetic but controls it with diet very well, has Borderline Personality & takes Zoloft & takes a mild blood pressure pill with Trazadone at night to help him sleep. Also has low testosterone. We havent been together intimately but thrice in a year due to these issues. 5 years ago he took one for our honeymoon and he said it made his heart race and didnt help the other issue. Now he's on these meds and I wonder if we could try it again but half this time.

Best advice would to start with breaking the tablet in to quarters. See if this gives him (and you) the right amount of potency. Also, you/he might consider the other types such as Cialis or Levitra, which may work better depending on his case. Raise the dose until the right level of potency has been achieved, and so 1/2 might be the next step if a 1/4 tab does nothing.

The most important aspect of your question , is whether it's safe. The answer is probably YES (obviously assuming his doctor knows about it), but he should take the Blood Pressure Medicine several hours before or after the Viagra, as both work in similar ways to lower Blood Pressure.
Make sense? Both work to ease blood pressure, and could, taken in combination lower his pressure too much, so Do NOT take them at the same time.

As long as he is otherwise healthy, and was Prescribed the Viagra, he should be Okay. Take the Blood pressure meds in the morning, and the viagra in the evening. Or the other way around.

If he normally takes the Blood Pressure meds in the evening, you might also consider that a man's testosterone levels tend to be higher in the mornings. So, it might be best to consider taking the tablet right when waking, and then see how it goes about 30-45 minutes after taking.

I want to say it's great that you've supported him . I know it can't be easy to be celibate in a marriage if you your self would like to be intimate more often.

Hope you find a combination of meds that works.

One final thought: He also has to want to try, and part of that might be talking to a urologist or his GP for a combination of meds that will allow him to feel good, and then "feel good?

best wishes..
