Is the Damiana Leaf in any way related to the cannabis family?
i recently bought some Damiana leaf online and when it came i used it as incense, as it burned i started to smell a hint of marijuana in it. My girlfriend also came home after and asked me if i had been smoking pot too. Just wanted to know, thanks
No buddy, Damiana is the genus name of the plant. Cannabis is the genus name of marijuana (Cannabis sativa) along with Cannabis indica and Cannabis ruderfalis. I heard that Damiana itself will not get you high, and that it is really coated in a synthetic endorphin, which I might add, will get you high with probably no other side effects besides those stemming inhaling combusted plant material.
So bear in mind that it is an additive in Damiana which is getting you buzzed, a synthetic endorphin.
